How will you make an impact in this role?

The Global Commercial Services – Global and US Large Enterprises business (G&L) manages American Express’ largest and strategically important commercial clients – driving differentiated value and providing solutions that meet the diverse and global needs of the company’s most valuable customers.

The G&L segment vision is to deliver a best-in-class T&E proposition and meet a growing set of our customers’ B2B payment needs.  The Senior Manager will be supporting all aspects of the go-to-market strategy and engagement for our digital and payments products in their region for our key global Corporate Clients.  This position will work with cross-functional teams, including local GCS Marketing, Brand, Sales, Account Development, and the global Product Teams to drive customer adoption and engagement. 

Senior Manager-G&L Product Marketing will support build of a cross-channel strategy, creative development with an external Agency, budget and channel management and analysis of campaign performance. They will possess outstanding analytics, thought leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and organizational skills, and will have a proven record of excellence operating independently across multiple time-zones.

We are seeking a talented professional who will work to evolve our product marketing globally with strong marketing, communications, and creative abilities with a desire to make a big impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project manage market and regional launch activities for key product launches
  • Assist with management and tracking of complex stakeholder relationships
  • Creating and analyzing tracking metrics of initiatives, campaigns, and team performance.
  • Work with team to define and develop assets, including live demos, prototypes, and video content in partnership with external audiences
  • Assist with mapping customer needs and develop a rigorous data-driven segmentation of target profiles by product
  • Contribute to the culture of learning, insight, and collaboration with enterprise partner
  • Lead a team of 3 to deliver on goals

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Great leadership and proven skills in project planning and strategic thinking
  • Ability to build relationships, influence constituents broadly across the organization and collaborate on problems with multiple stakeholders
  • Project management and results leadership skills to develop and accomplish action plans.
  • Experience in planning and executing Customer and/or Product Marketing across multiple mediums and channels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Impeccable time management and ability to plan across time zones
  • Ability to distil complex digital concepts into straight forward communications
  • Skills as a change agent who is not afraid to challenge the status quo.
  • Ability to engage and inspire your peers or a team.
  • Innovative problem solver with the ability to implement a strategy.
  • Typically holds a degree in communications or marketing (or has equivalent work experience)

Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
