Brooks, Todd & McNeil Insurance is seeking an experienced and results-driven Commercial Lines Producer to join our growing team. As a leading independent insurance agency, we provide access to over 20 direct markets and multiple lead sources, ensuring a strong foundation for success. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a minimum of five years of experience in commercial insurance sales. This role requires a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure sales environment, consistently meet or exceed sales targets, and effectively engage with prospective and existing clients to develop long-term business relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Proactively generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calling, and lead follow-ups.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored insurance solutions.
• Work closely with carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and secure the best coverage options for clients.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and present comprehensive insurance solutions to prospects.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, industry trends, and underwriting guidelines.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales goals and performance targets.
• Provide exceptional client service by assisting with policy changes, renewals, and coverage inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal account managers, underwriters, and support staff to ensure seamless policy issuance and servicing.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand market presence and generate new leads.

Requirements
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial insurance sales.
• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
• Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and risk management strategies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a high level of professionalism.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in CRM software and insurance rating platforms is a plus.
