Job Description
Purpose:
The Finance Director, Global Supply Chain FP&A is primarily responsible for the consolidation of actual & planning results for the Supply Chain function, and finance business support of the Global Distribution, Logistics & Central Services & Operations Brand Team functions. This role requires extensive stakeholder management across multiple Operations functions and Commercial Finance and drives significant process improvement projects & initiatives both within Supply Chain Finance and across Operations Finance.
Responsibilities:
- Manages and develops direct staff of 3 and total staff of 7.
- Coordinates across Supply Chain functions to ensure accurate and timely consolidation of close & planning deliverables including Plan, LRP & LBE in line with Operations HQ guidance.
- Responsible for business finance support for Global Distribution Logistics & Central Services function, including monitoring and analysis of global freight & distribution (F&D) payments.
- Responsible for business finance support of Operations Brand team, providing value added financial analysis for projects including budget and return on investment
- Works cross-functionally with Commercial Finance to align on F&D forecasts and analyze actual results
- Represents SC Finance for all system and process implementations impacting Operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Experience in a complex global organization; Pharma sector experience preferred
- 12+ years of progressive Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of people management required
- Demonstrated track record of driving process improvement/change management initiatives including new system implementations; Power BI and/or Workiva experience a plus
- Strong analytical skills – ability to synergize data into information to make decisions and make recommendations & proposals
- Ability to influence stakeholders without explicit authority
- Demonstrated ability working in a matrix organization, building strong partnerships & accessing available resources
- High personal integrity, energy & objectivity
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic & challenging environment
- Experience in coaching & career development
