Job Description
- Collaborate and engage with a cross-functional team, which includes but not limited to: Market Access, Medical Affairs, Health Economics, Marketing Analytics and Business Insights, Public Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, Clinical Development, R&D, Medical and Regulatory Review, Patient Relations, OEC, Learning, Finance and Supply Operations
- Analyze the Gastro Market dynamics and trends as well as collect insights on customer behavior to propose marketing strategies and tactics across geographical regions (EUROPE and INTERCOTINENTAL). This responsibility includes but is not limited to analyzing market research, monitor competitor activity, collect insights from local markets through regular touch point (physically and virtually) with affiliate commercial team
- Develop marketing plans for our brands in gastro through company internal processes and procedures, and the foundational marketing elements to secure growth. This responsibility includes, but is not limited to, defining product positioning, customer segmentation, campaign messaging, product branding etc
- Maintain regular research on competitor activities and gather necessary analytics to develop competitive readiness strategy and tactics. This responsibility could include, but is not limited to, establishing a centralized repository for objection handlers, competitor overview decks, key scientific publications etc. In addition, generate rapid response letters on emerging threats (e.g. competitor data release), lead workshops with and train affiliates on competitor product profiles
- Develop promotional campaigns and materials for our gastro brands to communicate its clinical value and features to Gastroenterologist and across geographies worldwide. This responsibility encompasses, but is not limited to, concept development, testing with HCPs, creative work review and developing promotional materials such as banners, interactive visual aids for sales representatives, websites, Congresses and Tradeshows booth design, pamphlets, and journal ads (printed and digital)
- Oversee in-market execution and co-create projects, and provide direct support to affiliates (with special focus on the Large Business Units) who are spread across Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East, North America and Latin America) by maintaining regular touch points and follow up on strategies and tactical execution in these local markets. This includes is but not limited to face-to-face and virtual meetings, workshops and training sessions, informal discussions etc
- Provide regular and proactive communications on key market developments to all levels of management, peers across functions and across the International and the US teams. This responsibility could include but is not limited to weekly meetings with line manager, monthly reviews with cross functional team, ad hoc/alert reports on competitor activities and market changes etc
- Withhold budget responsibility for assigned projects and conduct monthly budget reviews with finance team. This responsibility includes but is not limited to budget forecasting, identifying opportunities for budget maximization, prioritization of project execution upon overspending and contingency plans etc
- Manage vendors, suppliers and professional services agencies for project execution. This responsibility includes but is not limited to production of printed marketing material, development of digital assets, prepare workshop material, consulting etc
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 7-10 years of experience.
- Proven marketing experience with increased proficiency in all marketing skills.
- Previous cross franchise/cross channel marketing experience preferred.
- Digital communication experience.
- Ideally Area and/or several Affiliates exposure.
- Strategic thinker and organizational skills, able to define well-structured execution plans.
- Planning, organizing and managing multiple projects.
- Strong implementation skills and experience.
- Networking skills and effective communication that builds effective working relationships with a broad range of internal cross-functional stakeholders.
- Good communication skills and the ability to inspire teams utilizing effective written and oral communication.

- The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. Salary: $137,500- $261,000
- We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
- This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs
- This job is eligible to participate in our long-term incentive programs
