The Opportunity

Our location at Abbott Park, IL is looking for a Global Operations Specialist onsite within the Corporate Human Resouces (CHR) division.

 The Global Operations Specialist will support the design, coordination, and operational execution of global key talent programs that identify, develop, and retain high-potential employees. This role ensures seamless delivery of talent initiatives across regions, aligning with enterprise-wide talent strategies and business priorities.

What You’ll Work On

  • Partner with global and regional HR teams to operationalize key talent programs.
  • Coordinate logistics, communications, and data tracking for global key talent programs, ensuring consistency and scalability across geographies.
  • Analyze program data and program metrics to identify trends, measure impact, and support continuous improvement of key talent program initiatives.
  • Manage program calendars, stakeholder and participant communications to ensure high-quality experiences.
  • Support the development and deployment of tools, resources, and platforms that enable global key talent development.
  • Stay informed on global talent trends, best practices, and innovations to ensure programs remain competitive and relevant.
  • Coordinate and execute logistics for talent programs, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Prepare and pack materials, supplies, and equipment for global distribution.
  • Manage on-site setup and breakdown for events, which may include lifting heavy boxes and arranging event spaces.
  • Stand and move for extended periods during event preparation and execution.
  • Work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends, to support the programs.
  • Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally to support on-site operations for various programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in HR, talent management, or program operations, preferably in a global or matrixed environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Data analysis and reporting capabilities
  • Familiarity with talent management systems and collaboration tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting global or enterprise-wide talent programs
  • Ability to work across time zones and cultures
  • Passion for developing and supporting high-potential talent

The base pay for this position is

$60,000.00 – $120,000.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
